  • Glenn Alexander and Dave LaRue together, along with drummers Bill Elder and Van Romaine, form Stretch. Formed in 1982, Stretch gained local popularity in NY/NJ. Stretch is a high energy fusion trio with a wide range of influences, culminating in a unique sound. Harmonic & melodic depth, technical prowess and rhythmic complexity are prevalent in Stretch’s music, however, a strong groove in styles ranging from the ethereal to blues, rock and funk are maintained. Both Dave and Glenn will be in the studio today while Alan Douches mixes and masters a record they will be releasing together (it is NOT a Stretch record).
